The Swedish lighting brand OBLURE has recently released two new lighting luminaries. The ‘helios lamp’ by Joakim Thedin and the ‘blockchain lamp’ by Markus Johansson.
Helios lamp
The ‘Helios lamp’ is a modern version of a classic chandelier that embellishes the light. It consists of 232 individual acrylic cylinders that are lit up by LED from the centre. OBLURE decribes the lamp as “two faced”, as it has a cold presence when turned off and a vivid and alive apperance when turned on. They resemble the lamp to a glowing sun.
This item will be available from 15/11/20.
BLOCKCHAIN LAMP
The ‘Blockchain’ pendant lamp has eight square cubes which form an angular shape that floats in the air. There is a built in LED panel in every second cube that evenly spread the light. OBLURE potray every single cube as a travel through time and space, constructing an array of positions before the beholder.
This lamp is available now.
